Dr. Gaydusek is a graduate of Hamilton College and received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Gaydusek also has a master’s degree in school psychology and clinical psychology, and has worked in both school and clinical settings. Dr. Gaydusek has more than 10 years of clinical and research experience, and is an expert in the treatment of eating disorders (e.g., anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)) and anxiety disorders. Dr. Gaydusek is an active contributor to the field with numerous publications and has presented both in the Washington DC metropolitan area and at conferences.
Dr. Gaydusek primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure therapy, and mindfulness based approaches in her treatment with clients. She is also trained in Maudsley Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. Dr. Gaydusek has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work.
Dr. Gaydusek provides individualized evidence-based therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and empathetic and she integrates empirically supported client-centered interventions into her practice to provide symptom relief. She works with clients to build insight, uncover maladaptive thinking patterns, improve quality of life, and teaches skills to facilitate positive behavior change. Dr. Gaydusek tailors all treatment plans to the individual and utilizes interventions that best match the client’s needs.
Dr. Gaydusek is a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).

$300 for initial session (Comprehensive diagnostic assessment and treatment planning, 60 minute session, CPT Code 90791-95)
$240 for follow-up sessions (45 minute session, CPT Code 90834-95)
Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders:
$285 (60 minute session, CPT Code 90847-95)
Couples Therapy:
$285 (60 minute session, CPT Code 90847-95)

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. After each session, I will provide you with a statement for insurance reimbursement to submit for out-of-network benefits through your insurer. Payment is expected at the time of each service by credit card only.
Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at your earliest opportunity. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Sessions canceled within 24 hours will be subject to a late cancellation fee.
