Dr. Diana is a graduate of Hamilton College and received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Diana also has a master’s degree in school psychology and clinical psychology, and has worked in both school and clinical settings. Dr. Diana has more than 10 years of clinical and research experience, and is an expert in the treatment of eating disorders (e.g., anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) and anxiety disorders. Dr. Diana is an active contributor to the field with numerous publications and has presented both in the Washington DC metropolitan area and at conferences.
Dr. Diana primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure therapy, and mindfulness based approaches in her treatment with clients. She is also trained in Maudsley Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. Dr. Diana has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work.
Dr. Diana provides individualized evidence-based therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and empathetic and she integrates empirically supported client-centered interventions into her practice to provide symptom relief. She works with clients to build insight, uncover maladaptive thinking patterns, improve quality of life, and teaches skills to facilitate positive behavior change. Dr. Diana tailors all treatment plans to the individual and utilizes interventions that best match the client’s needs.
Dr. Diana is a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).

Dr. Diana lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, their three daughters, two dogs, and a very opinionated cat. Originally from New York, she brings a little bit of that NY energy into everything she does. When she’s not working, you can usually find her baking something sweet, reading a good book, practicing yoga, or planning her next Disney trip.
$325 for initial session (Comprehensive diagnostic assessment and treatment planning, 60 minute session, CPT Code 90791-95)
$250 for follow-up sessions (45 minute session, CPT Code 90834-95)
$300 (60 minute session, CPT Code 90847-95)

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. After each session, I will provide you with a statement for insurance reimbursement to submit for out-of-network benefits through your insurer. Payment is expected at the time of each service by credit card only.
Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at your earliest opportunity. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Sessions canceled within 24 hours will be subject to a late cancellation fee, which is equal to the full cost of the session.
